Filofax: Week 52

Hello! It's time for my end of the week Filofax post :) I use both an A5 and Personal planner to help me stay organized. Feel free to take a peek inside my A5 Original & Personal Domino. You can also find last week's post here.

Filofax: Week 52 in My A5 Original & Personal Domino

For now, I'll just give you a quick breakdown of what I use my Personal and A5 Filofax for. Both follow the same color-coding system. My [Personal] Domino holds all of my personal notes, family details, appointments/events, paydays & bills, contacts, as well as notes specific to my A5. For my blog and Project Life planning, crafts, online order tracking, and Household stuff [such as chore lists, menu planning, and important financial details], I use my A5. Since my Personal FF is my everyday planner, I duplicate some entries into it because I like knowing exactly what I have going on in that part of my life.

Filofax: Week 52 in My Personal Domino

It was a pretty busy week in my Personal planner, but with the help of my color-coding system I had no problem staying on top of my holiday plans and projects, daily routines, and other extra little details. For decorations, I used gray chevron tape by The Paper Studio [from Hobby Lobby] and a red patterned washi called "Smells Like Honolulu" from Downtown Tape. In honor of Christmas, I added some extra embellishments like fun holiday stickers that were gifted to me last holiday season, and a cute Project Life filler card from my stash of December Daily supplies. I also have a Martha Stewart dewdrop [which I move from week to week] for a little reminder, and a pink up&up (Target) magnetic clip to hold my pages together. A Paper Addict dashboard sits right between my week to hold important sticky notes.

The WO2P inserts I'm using were created by my friend Cathy V. of Paper Addict. You can download them here. I've been using them for about 6 months and really enjoy how roomy they are! There's plenty of space for all of the details, especially on the busy weekends.

Filofax: Week 52 in My A5 Original

In my A5 Original I'm using No. 2105-2013 WO1P inserts by Paige Paigen. I've been using them for the last few months, and at first I didn't think I would enough space for all of my notes. But they surprised me! I have more than enough room for the specifics I like to document in this part of my life.

I don't do much decorating on the pages of my A5, besides the usual washi tape. For a cohesive look in both planners, I used the same patterns and designs that I have in my Personal. I also added a couple of tiny holiday stickers to mark Christmas day. There is a Paper Addict dashboard [that I customized] in my A5 too for important sticky notes.

Filofax: Week 51

Hello! It's time for my end of the week Filofax post :) As you can see, I use both an A5 and Personal planner to stay organized. Feel free to take a peek inside my A5 Original & Personal Domino. And in case you missed last week's post, you can find it here.

Filofax: Week 51 in A5 Original & Personal Domino

For now, I'll just give you a quick rundown of what I use my A5 and Personal Filofax for. Since my personal FF is my everyday planner, I duplicate some entries from my A5 into it because I like knowing exactly what I have going on in that part of my life.

Filofax: Week 51 in My Personal Domino

This week in my Personal planner was pretty busy! Apart from my usual daily routines, I also had lots of holiday projects and to-dos on my agenda. The color-coding system I use really helps me stay on top of things! For decorations, I used a couple of my favorite tapes. I picked up the black and pink star washi from Paper Addict back in 2012. The B&W camera washi is another favorite that I picked up last year from The Beary Scrap. I also have a Martha Stewart dewdrop [which I move from week to week], a Christmas filler card from my December Daily stash, and an up&up (Target) magnetic clip to hold my pages together. A Paper Addict dashboard sits right between my week to hold important sticky notes.

The WO2P inserts I'm using were created by my friend Cathy V. of Paper Addict. You can download them here. I've been using them for six months and enjoy how roomy and spacious they are... especially on those busy weekends!

Filofax: Week 51 in My A5 Original

It was equally busy in my A5 too! I had the usual notes about my blog posts and weekly projects, along with extra tasks and to-dos for Christmas. But there are times when I don't get to everything on my agenda, so I use super handy transparent sticky flags to mark changes in my scheduling.

As for decorations, you won't see much on the pages of my A5 but washi tape. This week I have a red and silver theme continued from last week's page. Freckled Fawn chevron tape lines the bottom, and wide "Love" tape [from Paper Addict] that I cut into a banner is on top. Another Paper Addict dashboard [which I customized] sits right between my weeks. I also have another Christmas filler card and up&up magnetic clip here too!

The WO1P inserts I'm using is No. 2105-2013 by Paige Paigen. I've only been using them for a few months, and the biggest problem I thought I would have with them is space. It took me a while to get used to having my week on a single page too! But as you can see, even on my busiest weeks I have more than enough room for all of the details.

A Sneak Peek at My Current Week

That's it for today! You can view all of my previous Filofax layouts here. If you haven't already, check out my A5 Original & Personal Domino! If you're looking for more planner inspiration, feel free to browse my "Filofax Addict" pinboard on Pinterest. You can find the fun free Christnas printables I used in this week's spread on my "December Daily" pinboard. I also have more awesome freebies on my "SMASH* & PL" and "Printables/Templates" boards! Have fun and pin away!

2013 December Daily: Week 2

Happy Tuesday! I usually post my completed Project Life layouts during this time, but since I've opted out of doing PL this month, I'm sharing my December Daily. This year I carried on my love for Project Life with a pocket style album ;)

Today I'll be sharing Week 2 of my December Daily, but here is Week 1 in case you missed it. I also have my 2012 DD here on my blog if you're looking for more inspiration!

Now onto Days 7 - 13....

DAY 7
"Netflix"
2013 DD: Day 7 - Netflix

For this page I used a December calendar card and printable journal card from my DD collection. I thought "outside the box" and chose not use a photograph. Instead I added a snippet of our instant queue on Netflix, captured on our laptop. Those same everyday life moments that I love documenting in Project Life, had to be applied to my December Daily, too :) The only embellishment I added to this layout is the daily number tag.

DAY 8
"Pinspired"
2013 DD: Day - Pinspired [Left Page]

I mixed up my cards a bit for the left page. First is a handmade card using holiday paper from Studio Calico. It holds a wallet-size instagram photo of one of my favorite handmade decorations inspired by Pinterest. Next is a fun free printable from my Project Life stash. It may not be Christmas themed, but the colors and design works perfectly here! Last is a red Pebbles inc. journal card for the day's details.

2013 DD: Day 8 - Where We Stand [Right Page]

I made Day 8 two pages because I thought I would have more photos specifically for my "Pinspired Crafts." Instead, a day of running errands gave me a great photo op with my daughter. I loved the pic so much that I had to include it to our December Daily! The 4x4 instagram photo fits perfectly into the theme of the foundation pages. For the long, slender pocket on the left, I added some tall birch tree cardstock stickers from "Winter Wonderland" by TPC Studio. It looks great with the outdoorsy photo titled "Where We Stand" and the Christmas bird image on the 4x4 filler card. I used more Studio Calico and other holiday paper to create the cards on this page. The daily number tag completes it.

DAY 9
"Special Delivery"
2013 DD: Day 9 - Special Delivery

For the cards on this page I used some fun holiday cardstock that was gifted to me by a friend. One holds a 4x4 instapic of our batch of addressed Christmas cards. The other has the daily number tag and a printable banner from my collection. I made the 4x4 journaling card using Kraft cardstock and my favorite pens. For the silver frame around the card I used a metallic paint marker, and for the journaling I used my white gel pen.

DAY 10
"A Warm Drink"
2013 DD: Day 10 - A Warm Drink

First I have a printable filler card, followed by a handmade card using more Studio Calico holiday paper. It holds a wallet-size instagram photo of my eco-cup of hot chocolate sitting next to my DD and Filofax. To embellish that card, I used the daily number tag, My Mind's Eye enamel dots, and cardstock stickers by Cosmo Cricket. For the journal card I have another free printable that I mounted onto Kraft cardstock. Green argyle tape layered with narrow red washi adds the finishing touch.

DAY 11
"Create"
2013 DD: Day 11 - Create

This is probably my favorite layout from the week... mostly because of the pink! I used another printable freebie for my journaling, and made the next card with pretty pink Recollections holiday paper and a Heidi Swapp printable element. I have even more pink in the 4x6 card made from textured cardstock by Bazzill. It holds a couple of wallet-size instagram photos capturing our "Art Day." I embellished it with a "Sleigh Ride" brad by Crate Paper and a large sequin that came with last year's Studio Calico DD Kit. I also used glittery "Sunrise" thickers, and finished the card with a daily number tag.

DAY 12
"Hello Santa"
2013 DD: Day 12 - Hello Santa

I mixed up the cards a bit here, too. First I have a handmade card using Studio Calico holiday paper. It has a wallet-size photo of our daughter with Santa, that I edited in instagram. The only embellishments I added was the daily number tag, and a wooden silver heart that a friend gave me last Christmas. Next is a quote that I printed on Kraft cardstock. I used a red Pebbles inc. journal card to document the details.

DAY 13
"From Grandma"
2013 DD: Day 13 - From Grandma

For the first card I have a freebie that I backed with Kraft cardstock. Following that is a handmade card using more Studio Calico holiday paper. It holds another wallet-size instagram photo of a lovely care package sent to us by my Grandma. I also added some gold and white Dear Lizzy alphabet stickers and the daily number tag. Lastly, I have a printable journal card that was a bit on the small size, so I mounted it onto some Christmas cardstock by Recollections.

That's all I have for you today! Be sure to check back next Tuesday to see this week's completed pages. For more inspiration, feel free to browse the December Daily posts on my blog! Want the fun, free printables I used in today's post? You can find some of them in my Printables: December blogpost, or on my "December Daily" pinboard on Pinterest. Filofax: Week 50

Hello Lovelies! It's time for my end of the week Filofax post :) I use both an A5 and Personal planner to organize my life. Feel free to take a peek inside my A5 Original & Personal Domino! You can also find last week's post here.

Filofax: Week 50 in My A5 Original & Personal Domino

For now, I'll just give you a quick breakdown of what I use my Personal and A5 Filofax for. Both follow the same color-coding system. My [Personal] Domino holds all of my personal notes, family details, appointments/events, paydays & bills, contacts, as well as notes specific to my A5. For my blog and Project Life planning, crafts, online order tracking, and Household stuff [such as chore lists, menu planning, and important financial details], I use my A5. Since my Personal FF is my everyday planner, I duplicate some entries from my A5 into it because I like knowing exactly what I have going on in that part of my life.

Filofax: Week 50 in My Personal Domino

This week in my Domino was pretty busy, but with the help of my color-coding system I had no problem staying on top of all my projects, daily routines, and other extra little details that I like to note. For decorations, I used red chevron tape by Freckled Fawn and narrow snowflake washi by American Crafts. For the finishing touch I added a Christmas tag from my stash of free December Daily printables. I have a pink up&up (Target) magnetic clip to hold my pages together, and a Martha Stewart dewdrop [which I move from week to week] for a little reminder. A Paper Addict dashboard sits right between my week to hold important sticky notes.

The WO2P inserts I'm using were created by my friend Cathy V. of Paper Addict. You can download them here. I've been using them for about half of 2013 and really enjoy how spacious and roomy they are!

Week 50 in My A5 Original

In my A5 Original, I'm using No. 2105-2013 WO1P inserts by Paige Paigen. I've been using these for a few months, and in the beginning I didn't think I would have enough space for all of my notes. It took me a little while to get used to having my page on a single week too, but now that I've been using them for a while they work perfectly fine for my needs... even on my busiest weeks!

I don't do much decorating on the pages of my A5, besides some pretty washi for inspiration. I'm using the same chevron tape I did in my Personal Domino, along with some red narrow Recollections washi and wide silver "Love" tape that I picked up last year from Paper Addict. Here I also added a Christmas tag from my printables stash. I have an up&up magnetic clip in this planner to hold my pages together, and a Paper Addict dashboard [which I customized] sits right between my weeks.

A Sneak Peek at My Current Week in My Personal Filofax

That's all I have for you today! Feel free to browse all of my previous layouts here. If you're looking for more planner inspiration, check out my "Filofax Addict" pinboard on Pinterest. Crafts: A Pinspired Christmas

Happy Saturday! Hope you're enjoying the weekend. I don't know about you, but I love Christmastime! It's my most favorite time of the year. From the holiday movies and twinkling lights, to the crisp winter air and handmade Christmas decorations! Everything about this season brings me great joy, and being able to experience all of this with my loved ones is truly a blessing.

When it comes to adding a holiday touch to our home, I try to include as many handmade DIY projects as possible. Don't get me wrong, I love buying store-bought stuff! Our home has them too. But nothing beats a handmade creation for your family to enjoy for years to come....

With the internet at our fingertips, it's never hard to find ideas and inspiration for ways to personalize your holiday home. And today I'm giving you glimpse into our home to see some of the fun projects I've made to decorate it... each one inspired by Pinterest!

ACTIVITY ADVENT CALENDAR
Pinspired Christmas: Activity Advent Calendar

This is a handmade activity advent calendar that I created for my 4-year-old daughter. You can find my DIY here. It's our second year doing it, and although the calendar stays the same, the activities and the cards you write them on can be changed and customized year after year.

WORD ART
Pinspired Christmas: Christmas Subway Art

A simple and inexpensive way to decorate your home is by switching out some of your photos with fun Christmas art prints. There are so many different designs and styles available [free] on the internet, that you can change them out each year. Here is the Christmas Rules subway art print I used. Mine is displayed in a large black 8x10 frame.

25-BOOKS-IN-DECEMBER
Pinspired Christmas: 25-Books-in-December

Here is another fun project that we continued from last year! I think it's my little one's favorite :) If you have a child that shares a love for reading, it's definitely something to add to your family's list of traditions! You can find all of the details about my 25-Books-in-December here.

CHRISTMAS CARD HOLDER
Pinspired Christmas: Handmade Card Holder

This is one of my favorite handmade Christmas projects! Besides it being super simple to create, I loved using supplies from my stash to customize it to fit our holiday theme. I'll be sharing my DIY next week, so stay tuned to see how I made it!

SANTA'S KEY
Pinspired Christmas: Santa's Key

I think this is the most special handmade Christmas decoration. When I saw it on Pinterest last year, I knew I had to recreate it for our family. It only took a few supplies to make, but the message speaks plenty. I love it!

The hardest thing about this project was finding "the key". I snagged this big glittery gold key ornament from Target. Isn't it perfect? Next, I cut a large tag from Kraft cardstock and printed up a card with the following text:

"Dear Santa,
This magic key works just for you,
Please open the door and come on through.
Thank you for coming to our house tonight.
We are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Thank you Santa for the gifts you bring,
Thank you Lord for everything."

I added the card to the Kraft tag, and tied on some pretty ribbon to complete it. This piece hangs on the doorknob of our front door for everyone to see.

CHRISTMAS PRINTS
Pinspired Christmas: Christmas Art Printables

This is another freebie that I displayed in one of our silver frames. You can download the "Believe" print here. There are so many beautiful designs online that it's so hard to choose just a few! But I have to say, it really is a simple and frugal way to decorate. With the endless Christmas prints on Pinterest, you can easily change up your displays year after year!

I hope you enjoyed today's post and leave here feeling inspired to create something beautiful this holiday season! If you're looking for more crafty Christmas decor inspiration, check out my "Holidays" pinboard on Pinterest! I also have more fun free holiday printables on my "December Daily" pinboard! Feel free to pin away!

You can stay updated on my recent posts, projects, and photos by following me on instagram or by "liking" my fan page on Facebook. So why not head over there now and show some love....

Were you inspired by Pinterest this season? Tried any of these projects? Any thoughts, questions, or comments about this post? I'd love to hear it! Your feedback is always welcome and much appreciated!

Christmas DIY: Traditions | 25-Books-in-December

Happy Holidays! Today I want to share a special project that our family started in 2012. Originally inspired by Pinterest, I added touches better suited to my style and our family. We loved it so much that it's definitely a tradition that we'll continue for years to come! It's such a simple project that any parent can put together... you and your child can share your love of reading together all month long! The best part... it's a great way to start a wonderful collection of books that your child can enjoy all year!

When it came to gathering books together for this project, and being the frugal mommy that I am, I tried to find the most inexpensive route. I rotate my daughter's book collection every six months, so I like to include some of those books for this project. They're almost like new to her, since it's been a while since she's seen that particular book.

I also frequent the local Goodwill often and make it a habit to scour the children's book section. You do have to thumb through each book to make sure the pages are all there, and that they aren't covered with crayon marks. But it's definitely worth the time and effort, because the prices of kids books are incredible! And on that rare occasion you may find something you weren't expecting!

Here is the stack of books that I'm using for this year's 25-Books-in-December...

When I mentioned earlier that sometimes you find something unexpected, this is what I was talking about! 90% of these books came from our local Goodwill. You can imagine how excited I was to find numerous Hawaiian books for $.50 a piece! It was a great way to build my daughter's Hawaiian book collection :) The other 10% of them are from family members and cousins that passed down their favorite books. They were put away until she was old enough to read them.

So don't think that you need to go out and buy ALL brand new books for this project! "Be Green" and buy secondhand, like I did :) If you're a book lover yourself, you'll find much joy in searching the thrift store's shelves for books to be treasured by your little ones. I absolutely love it!

Next comes another fun part...I don't know about you, but I love wrapping presents! It's one of my favorite things to do during Christmas time, so I treated this batch of books just like a stack of Christmas presents! I alternated between pretty printed wrapping paper and brown Kraft paper, and adorned each book with a handmade tag and white & gold twine.

My Silhouette Cameo named "Candy" [a gift from the hubs last Valentine's Day ;)] helped with the tags. Super simple... no cutting for me! I decorated each one with various washi tape and hand wrote the numbers with some of my favorite pens. Some gold and white twine wrapped around each book finishes my 25-Books-in-December.

Christmas DIY: Traditions | 25-Books-in-December

PROJECT IN ACTION: Here is a look at a favorite book from last week. This is such a fun tradition! We get to read together as a family or one-on-one, and discover new adventures each and every night. We look forward to putting on our favorite jammies and snuggling up together with a new book. At the end of the night, it goes into a basket under the Christmas tree with the rest of the books we opened, to be enjoyed any time.

That's all I have for you today. I hope you enjoyed my Christmas post! If you're looking for more DIY Holiday inspiration, check out my handmade Activity Advent Calendar. I have even more fun projects, ideas, and inspiration on my "Holidays" pinboard on pinterest! Are you documenting December? I'm doing a December Daily this year! I'll also be sharing more of my Christmas projects this month, so stay tuned!

You can stay updated on all of my recent posts, projects, and photos by following me on instagram or by "liking" my fan page on Facebook.

Do you share this family tradition? Have I inspired you to try it? Any thoughts, questions, or comments about this post? I'd love to hear it! Your feedback is always welcome and much appreciated.

2013 December Daily: Week 1

Happy Tuesday! About this time every week, I usually post my completed Project Life spreads. Being December, and since I've opted out of doing both December Daily and Project Life this month, I'll instead be sharing the completed weeks in my 2013 DD album!

If you would like to see the details of the album I'm using this year, and I how I put my cover together, check out this post. I even have my completed 2012 DD album here on my blog! To continue my love for Project Life into the month of December, I'll be documenting it daily with a Project Life style pocket system. It's the perfect fit for me!

Here is an introduction to my 2013 December Daily...

2013 DD: The Cover

I'm not a traditional red and green girl when it comes to Christmas. Looking at the cover of my 2013 album clearly shows that! Instead, I incorporated a couple of my favorite things... the color pink and lots of glitter!

2013 DD: The Title Page

For the title page of my album, I used a full-page pocket. I was extremely happy to find a lovely Recollections paper stack [from Michaels] that had my Christmas colors! I cut an 8.5" x 11" sheet down to size, and trimmed the bottom with a complementing piece of scrap paper and narrow black washi tape. I also used glittery red "Jingle" thickers, large puffy "Umbrella" thickers, and some Cosmo Cricket "Dear Mr. Claus" cardstock stickers.

2013 DD: December Calendar

I needed to fill the backside of my title page, so I thought it would be fun to include a December calendar. I didn't have one in last year's album, and I think it's a great addition! Since my calendar is much smaller than my full-page pocket, I cut a sheet of holiday paper [gifted to me by a friend] to size, to act as a mat. I stamped Day 25 with an Ali Edwards heart in red ink.

------------

For this year's daily journaling cards I mixed it up a bit. Some day's I use a 6" x 4" Pebbles inc. journal card, on other day's I have a 3" x 4" card from my stash of free printables. Every day is a different card. But they all show my passion for penmanship and handwriting. For a cohesive look, I named and labeled each one with the same faux calligraphy technique.

This colorful and eclectic album definitely represents our family during the holidays. Filled with precious photos and memories capturing all this wonderful season has to offer, makes it absolutely perfect!

Now onto Days 1 - 6....

DAY 1
"Traditions"
2013 DD: Day 1 | Add-On - Tags & a Pocket for Ephemera

I created a fun add-on page using two Kraft mailing tags that I attached together with washi tape. I reinforced the holes with stickers, and tied them off with some black and white twine. On the front, I made a pocket from holiday scrapbook paper to hold all of the bits and pieces of ephemera collected from Day 1. The back of the add-on holds a 4x4 instagram photo of our stack of books from 25-Books-in-December.

2013 DD: Day 1 - Traditions

I love to take pictures... especially during this time of the year! Doing a PL style album has allowed me to use multiple photos in my daily layouts. To hold my wallet-size instapics, I created a couple of handmade cards using pretty patterned scrapbook paper. I embellished them with some printable elements from my DD collection, and pink Tiny Text alphabet stickers by Cosmo Cricket. I used a red Pebbles inc. journal card to document the details.

DAY 2
"Deck The Halls"
2013 DD: Day 2 - Deck The Halls [Left Page]

I have more handmade cards using paper from my scraps. One holds an instagram photo edited with Photo Grid, and another a printable filler card. I also added my daily number element and a Dymo label to fill some space. To document the day, I used a pink Pebbles inc. journal card.

2013 DD: Day 2 - Deck The Halls [Right Page]

For this stacked 6" x 4" pocket page, I cut another full sheet of gorgeous Recollections paper down to size, and sliced it in half horizontally. Together they make the perfect background for my 4" x 4" instagram pics. I added glittery silver "Sunrise" thickers, black & silver Studio 112 alphabet stickers, and red "Hardcover" thickers along the vertical edge.

DAY 3
"The Tree"
2013 DD: Day 3 - The Tree [Left Page]

I created a handmade card on top using Recollections paper cut down to size. It holds a 4" x 4" instagram pic of our owl tree topper. I embellished the card with glittery white "Delight" thickers, and Cosmo Cricket cardstock stickers of a heart and [half] a doily. For my journaling, I used a red journal card by Pebbles inc.

2013 DD: Day 3 - The Tree [Right Page]

For this page, I have a mix of papers and photos to fill the pockets. The 3" x 4" slots have a handmade card using pretty holiday paper and some printable elements to decorate it. I also added a wallet-size instagram photo. Next is a filler card from my DD stash. In the 6" x 4" pocket, I have a card using more Recollections paper to hold a 4" x 4" instagram pic of our Christmas tree. I embellished it with red "Jingle" thickers, strips of red narrow [Recollections] washi and B&W Cosmo Cricket trim, plus the other half of the doily sticker to tie the pages together.

DAY 4
"Our Card"
2013 DD: Day 4 - Our Card

Both 3" x 4" pockets have a printable journal and filler card from my collection. I made the 6" x 4" card using another design from my Recollections paper stack. I added a 4" x 4" instagram photo of our holiday card, a Cosmo Cricket cardstock tag sticker, and a daily number element. I used "Snowflake" bling to finish it!

DAY 5
"Christmas Music"
2013 DD: Day 5 - Christmas Music

For this 3" x 4" pocket page I have a fun mix of different cards. I used Christmas sheet music paper as the background for a wallet-size instagram photo and the daily number. Following that card are some journal and filler cards from my stash of DD printables. I embellished the reindeer card with a red enamel dot by MME, and layered the Fa La La filler card with a red printable label and AC Remarks alphabet stickers.

DAY 6
"Friday Fun"
2013 DD: Day 6 - Friday Fun

I mixed up the 3" x 4" cards in the pockets of this page too. Another handmade card holds a wallet-size instapic capturing our new book from 25-Books-in-December. I embellished it with a daily number, glittery red "Jingle" thickers, and Studio 112 alphabet stickers. Following is a HoHoHo! filler card, a cutout journal card, and a frame card from my stash of free printables. Another wallet-size instagram photo and a Dymo label complete this page.

That's all I have for you today! Be sure to check back next Tuesday to see this week's completed pages :) I'll be linking up with The Mom Creative today, so be sure to stop by for more inspiration! If you haven't already, feel free to browse my December Daily posts! Want the fun, free printables I used in this week's spread? You can find some of them in my Printables: December blogpost, or on my "December Daily" pinboard on Pinterest. And see how I'm staying organized with December Daily using my 2013 Holiday Planner!

Filofax: Week 49

Hello! It's time for my end of the week Filofax post! I use both an A5 and Personal planner to stay organized. And now you can see the inside of both my Filofaxes and how I use them! Feel free to take a peek at my A5 Original & Personal Domino. In case you missed last week's post, you can find it here.

Filofax: Week 49 in My A5 Original and Personal Domino

For now I'll just give you a quick rundown of what I use my Personal and A5 planner for.

Filofax: Week 49 in My Personal Domino

It was a lovely start to December... not too busy. The usual daily routines, a mid-season finale of a favorite show, a household delivery, and I had plenty of time to catch up on some holiday projects! For decorations, I used some pretty Studio G washi tape with an argyle and chevron print in Christmasy colors. I also used filmstrip tape to mark the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. A cute tree sticker from my stash adds that touch of holiday whimsy. I have a pink up&up (Target) magnetic clip to hold my pages together, and a Martha Stewart dewdrop for a little reminder [that I move from week to week]. A Paper Addict dashboard sits right between my week to hold sticky notes.

The WO2P inserts I'm using were created by my friend Cathy V. of Paper Addict. You can download them here. I've been using them since July, and really enjoy how spacious they are for all of my notes, especially on the weekends! They also start on Sunday, which is great for me.

Filofax: Week 49 in My A5 Original

In my A5 Original, I'm using No. 2105-2013 WO1P inserts by Paige Paigen. These are the only inserts I've used since owning my A5 a couple of months ago. It took a little while to get used to having my week on a single page, and I didn't think I would have enough space for all of my notes. But so far they work perfect for my needs.

I don't do too much decorating on these inserts besides a few transparent sticky flags to mark changes in scheduling and the usual washi tape for prettiness. Continued from last week are the Martha Stewart washi from her holiday set. Another Paper Addict dashboard [which I customized] sits between my weeks. I also have another up&up magnetic clip to hold my pages together.
