Project Life: Week 41

Hello! I hope you are having a great start to your week. It's Project Life Tuesday here on my blog today :) I have to say that I'm incredibly proud of myself. Documenting this year of my life has been a huge accomplishment for me. This is actually the longest running project that I've ever done. And to be up-to-date in my album feels so wonderful! I'm super excited to share my completed layout with you now...

Life Documented

October 6 - October 12

Week 41 | Full Spread

This was an incredibly special week for me, and I was so happy to have enough photos to finally do another double-page spread. Although I only documented two days, I had lots of fun stuff to use and designated an entire page in honor of our 14 year anniversary. My weeks are usually pretty simple, but this time I added some extra embellishments and mixed up my journal and filler cards a bit.

Week 41: Left Page

Here I'm using a We R Memory Keepers pocket page continued from Week 40. I filled these six 6x4 pockets with a fun mix of cards. For the title card, I used the reverse side of the double-sided handmade card from last week. I added a neon tag that I cut on my Silhouette Cameo and for more detail I doodled a frame around it. I also doodled a dotted border around the title card itself. I used some new thickers, pink sequins, and a MAMBI sticker to finish it off.

Week 41: Left Page | Butterfly Card

This is another handmade card which I created using 6x6 paper from Studio Calico's Heyday collection cut down to size. It holds a lovely 4x4 instagram photo of my daughter. I added a printable journaling spot for the date, some Firefly and Doodlebug alphabet stickers, and a Cosmo Cricket cardstock sticker.

I mixed it up a bit with the remaining 6x4 pockets. For my "Throwback" card, I used the reverse side of the double-sided Ki Memories card from last week. I added a 4x4 instapic, some wood veneers, a strip of orange paper tape and October Afternoon washi tape, and a Basic Grey canvas label sticker. Next, is a Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic filler card, a MAMBI prompt card [which couldn't be more perfect for this layout], and a Becky Higgins Mayfield journal card. I added another 4x4 instagram photo to it, and played around with my white gel pen.

Week 41: Right Page

I needed lots of pockets for my anniversary page, so I went with Becky Higgins Design A. It complements the accompanying page nicely. I love mixing up paper collections and cards... and this page is full of different kinds. From free printables to handmade cards using designer paper. I even destashed my supply of embellishments!

Week 41: Right Page | Facebook Snippet

I love taking snippets of my recent activity on various websites. This week I captured a Facebook status to my hunny on our anniversary. I wanted to remember all of the love we felt that day not just from each other but from our friends and family. I added some love themed washi tape from my collection to decorate the card.

Week 41: Right Page | 14 Year Anniversary Photo

This is another handmade card using 6x6 Ki Memories paper cut down to size. It holds our 14 year photo. I embellished it with a printable tag, a Cosmo Cricket cardstock doily sticker, numbers from a set of foam thickers, red paper tape, some Basic Grey alphabet stickers, and pink bling.

For these 3x4 pockets I used some cards by MAMBI. I embellished a fun and colorful chevron card with a wallet size instagram photo, strips of camera washi layered with narrow Recollections tape, and some red foam thickers. Following that is a lovely filler card.

Here is another MAMBI card which I added a photo collage of our "couple" pics taken over the last 14 years. I created it using my Samsung Galaxy S3 and a free app called Photo Grid on Android. There are so many customization options and it's very simple to use! I embellished the card with some Recollections glitter alphabet stickers, and a strip of paper tape. Next is a calendar card printable which I used to mark the current week.

Week 41: Right Page | Flower Card

This is a 6x4 card I made using paper from Dear Lizzy's 5th & Frolic collection. The design complements my 4x4 instapic beautifully. I added some fun cardstock stickers by Cosmo Cricket to complete it.

Week 41: Journal Card by MAMBI

My anniversary page wouldn't be complete without a journal card documenting our day. This card by MAMBI couldn't be more perfect!
