It's about that time again to share my 365/30: Lists journal entries from last week! In case you missed my previous post, you can find it here. View this month's complete list of prompts @ 365/30 Lists: Philofaxers! I'll be using the hashtag #30filolists on instagram if you want to follow my journey...

WEEK 29
July 14 - July 20

365/30 Lists: 2014 - Week 29 | Day 14

365/30 Lists: 2014 - Week 29 | Days 15 - 20

FYI, I made some adjustments to a few of this week's prompts because the ones provided just weren't working for me. But when it comes to any of the books I'm working in, I really love to play around with color and penmanship. I think it's really fun to mix up fonts! I also added simple artwork and a couple of embellishments from my stash, like a honu [sea turtle] and a piece of filmstrip washi tape.

That's it for today! Want more? Check back next week! In the meantime, feel free to browse my other 365/30 Lists. Or take a peek at my Filofax posts!

You can also stay updated on my recent posts, projects, and photos by following me on instagram, or by "liking" my fan page on Facebook. So why not head over there now and show some love...

Happy Wednesday :)

I hope you're enjoying your summer so far! Life has been lovely here. And it feels really good to be writing daily again... even if it's something as simple as a list. Today I'll be sharing the next set of completed pages from my 365/30 Lists journal.

In case you missed last week's post, you can find it here. View this month's complete list of prompts @ 365/30 Lists: Philofaxers! I'll be using the hashtag #30filolists on instagram if you want to follow my journey...

365/30 Lists: 2014 - Week 28 | Days 8 - 10

365/30 Lists: 2014 - Week 28 | Days 11 - 14

I ended up making some adjustments to a couple of this week's prompts. I also played around with different fonts and added some art to fill up some empty space on one of the pages. I even added a transparent neon arrow sticky from my Filofax stash!

That's all I have for you today! I hope you liked my post :) Want more? Check back next week! In the meantime, feel free to browse my other 365/30 Lists. Or take a peek at my Filofax posts!

365/30 Lists: 2014 | Week 27

If you're a longtime follower of my blog, you'll remember at the start of this year when I kept a daily "Lists" journal. I've been so busy for the last few months that I neglected it! And I think now is a great time to get back to writing. Today I'll be sharing the first entry in my new 365/30 Lists journal.

In case you missed my last 365/30 post from earlier this year, you can find it here. View this month's complete list of prompts @ 365/30 Lists: Philofaxers! I'll be using the hashtag #30filolists on instagram, if you want to follow my journey...

365/30 Lists | My New Journal

Instead of picking up where I left off, I decided to finish out the rest of this year in a brand new journal. I picked up this one from Tuesday Morning for $3.99. Some Dear Lizzy glitter thickers grace the cover. Inside I have a Martha Stewart label [gifted to me] and colorful washi tape cut into banners and an arrow.

Filofax: Planning On-The-Go

Hello July!
Summer is here... which means lots of planning, day trips, and mini vacations. But if you're anything like me, you just want a simple way to store your Filofax supplies for traveling or everyday use. My  "To-Go" bag holds an A5 Original and a couple of travel pouches plus a purse organizer. It's portable, which means I can take it with me anywhere I go, even around the house when I'm working in different rooms.

I know Filofax posts are among the favorites on my blog, so I thought it would be fun to show you how I use my planner on-the-go. Keep in my mind that these are just the things I use the most on a day-to-day basis. I felt it was easier to keep them all together in one place. Instead of buying new supplies, I just change out the stickers, notepads, pens or stickies for the extra ones in my collection.

Figuring out what works for you and personalizing everything to suit your style is what makes "life planning" so much fun! Feel free to customize what I've done to make it more You...

*WARNING: This is a photo-heavy post! So bookmark it for later or kick back and relax. I hope it inspires you...

I use the same hot pink, see-through studded bag all year-round to hold my Filofax pouches and supplies. It's bright and fun for every season and the perfect size to hold everything I need. [Pink Shopping Bag by Penny Sue, $19.99 from Tuesday Morning] Inside I have my planner and pencil pouches, along with a purse organizer that holds lots of other fun goodies!

This is my most used pencil pouch that has all of my basic planning supplies. [Hot Pink Multi-Purpose Case by Cosmos, $2.99 from Amazon] I've had it for over a year and it is still in really good shape. I know that lots of people complain about these pouches ripping apart, but I haven't had that problem since I don't overstuff it. Jam-packing it until it's ripping at the seams will definitely cause it to fall apart easily!

A sequined patch [gifted to me] pulls double-duty, by adding a sweet personal touch and to cover up the lime green logo that was there.

This butterfly pouch has lots of different pockets to hold everything from pens to sticky notes. It's so easy to organize all of the little bits and pieces.

I tuck fun arrow flags, post-its, magnetic clips, notepaper and labels into the pockets on one side.

Here I have each of the pens I use for my color-coding system, along with florescent sticky flags in various shapes and sizes.

There's even a large zipper pocket where I keep random tags, labels, and stickers.

My second pencil pouch came courtesy of Cool Pencil Case. It's not too big and easily fits into my everyday handbag if I need to pack only a few planning essentials. I especially love the saying on the front... it always makes me smile.

Although it doesn't have as many pockets as my other one, it still comes in handy. I'm currently using this butterfly pouch to hold extra pens and supplies.

In the large zippered pocket I have a few sets of cute Hawaiian sticky tabs [gifted to me]. The tall pocket has some colorful Sharpies and pens, and the elastic strip holds a couple of adorable page marker sets [gifted to me].

I also use a cool little bag to hold my pencil pouches (or just a Filofax) and other fun goodies. It goes with all of my pink supplies and has a ton of pockets! [Nylon Handbag Insert in Pink, $3.44 from Amazon]

This bag organizer can easily slim down, if need be. When empty, the sides snap together on the top and bottom, taking up less space in your bag.

It was so much fun picking and choosing different items to fill the pockets! On the front and back, I have sticky note pads and sets, washi tape samples, and a multi-color pen.

Inside the bag, there are two large zipper pockets that can hold just about anything!

In one, I have super cute dimensional stickers plus a pouch full of even more stickers!

In the other zippered pocket I have extra diary/calendar stickers, page markers, and sticky flags.

You can really do anything you want with these different travel bags. Choose to fill them with items that work for you and ones that you use everyday. Mix things up when you need a change! What motivates you to stay on top of your planning? Fun stationery? Bright colors? Cute characters? I choose all of the above!

That's all I have for you today! I hope you enjoyed this and leave here feeling inspired :) Feel free to browse my other Filofax posts or my completed planner pages here. Or check out my SMASH* & Project Life Travel Bag! You can also stay updated on my recent posts, projects, and photos by following me on instagram, or by "liking" my fan page on Facebook.

How do you plan on-the-go? Any thoughts, questions, or comments about this post? I'd love to hear it! Your feedback is always welcome and much appreciated.

Filofax 2014: Week 6

Happy Monday! It's time for my end of the week Filofax post :) As you can see, I use both an A5 and Personal size planner to organize my life. Feel free to take a peek inside my A5 Original and Personal Domino. To Stay Organized in 2014, I added some extra inserts to my A5 planner! Just in case you missed last week's post, you can find it here.

FF 2014: Week 6 in My A5 Original & Personal Domino

Here is a quick breakdown of what I use my Personal and A5 Filofax for. Both follow the same color-coding system. My [Personal] Domino holds all of my personal notes, family details, appointments/events, paydays & bills, contacts, as well as notes specific to my A5. For my blog and Project Life planning, crafts, online order tracking, and Household stuff [such as chore lists, menu planning, and important financial details], I use my A5. Since my Personal FF is my everyday planner, I duplicate some entries into it because I like knowing exactly what I have going on in that part of my life.

FF 2014: Week 6 in My Personal Domino

It was a pretty crazy week recovering from a nasty bug and trying to play catch up on all of the projects I fell behind with. Suprisingly, I had a very productive week! And I couldn't have done it without my color-coding system. As for decorations, I dug into my stash of Valentine/Love themed washi tape. On top, I have pink argyle tape cut into a banner. Love Grid washi lines the bottom of the pages. [Both designs from Downtown Tape

I also have a Martha Stewart dewdrop [which I move from week to week] for a little reminder, and a pink up&up magnetic clip to hold my pages together. A Paper Addict dashboard sits between my week to hold important sticky notes.

I'm using CC-Inspired WO2P inserts by My Life All in One Place.

FF 2014: Week 6 in My A5 Original

This part of my life was pretty hectic too! I had so many projects to catch up on!! But I managed to get most of it done :) Not too many to carry into the current week. For decorations, I used the same washi tape designs from my Domino.

I'm also using the same CC-Inspired WO2P inserts in my A5 planner for cohesiveness, along with another Paper Addict dashboard [that I customized], and an up&up (Target) magnetic clip.

Filofax 2014: Weeks 3 - 5

Hello again! It feels great to be back :) But because of my little hiatus, I've fallen behind in ALL of my projects! Slowly but surely, I am catching up. Starting with my Filofaxes. They're all up-to-date and ready for me to get back in the game! And today I'll be sharing 3 weeks worth of planner layouts...

As you can see I use both an A5 and Personal Filofax to organize my life. Take a glimpse inside my Original A5 & Personal Domino. I even added some extra inserts to Stay Organized in 2014! In case you missed my last Filofax post, you can find it here.

FF 2014: Week 3 in My A5 Original & Personal Domino

Let me give you a quick rundown of what I use my Personal and A5 Filofax for. Both follow the same color-coding system. My [Personal] Domino holds all of my personal notes, family details, appointments/events, paydays & bills, contacts, as well as notes specific to my A5. For my blog and Project Life planning, online order tracking, and Household stuff [such as chore lists, menu planning, and important financial details], I use my A5. Since my Personal FF is my everyday planner, I duplicate some entries into it because I like knowing what I have going on in that part of my life.

WEEK 3

FF 2014: Week 3 in My Personal Domino

The color-coding system really helped me to stay on top of this busy week in my Personal Domino. Apart from my standard daily entries and other little notes, I had extra details that I needed to keep track of for an upcoming trip. Which happens to be the reason why I don't crowd my pages with decorations and stickers beforehand. I want to be sure that I have enough space for my notes!

But I always add washi tape for inspiration before I start my week :) On top, I used Recollections tape cut into a banner. Colorful Birds on a Wire line the bottom of the pages. A Martha Stewart dewdrop holds a little reminder [that I move from week to week], a pink Typo page marker is used to hide some personal info, and an up&up (Target) magnetic clip holds my pages together. A Paper Addict dashboard sits right between my week.

I'm using CC-Inspired WO2P inserts from My Life All in One Place.

FF 2014: Week 3 in My A5 Original

In my A5 Original, I'm also using CC-Inspired WO2P inserts from My Life All in One Place. To continue the cohesiveness, I added the same washi tape from my Personal Domino. But I did sneak in a cute Hello Kitty sticker ;) When things happen to not go as planned... which happens often, I use a transparent sticky flag to mark changes in scheduling. I have another up&up magnetic clip to hold my pages together, and a Paper Addict dashboard [which I customized] sits between my week.

WEEK 4

FF 2014: Week 4 in My A5 Original & Personal Domino

This week I decided to take a break from blogging to get ready for and enjoy our Road Trip to Portland, OR. Blogging didn't seem important... it was all about vacation & Family. For decorations in my A5 Original, I used a car sticker from Michael's Hello Kitty's line, more transparent sticky flags to mark changes in scheduling, pink & white Valentine washi tape from Target, and pink Hello Kitty tape by Sandylion. In my Personal, I chose pink dotted washi by Recollections to complement the HK washi tape.

WEEK 5

FF 2014: Week 5 in My A5 Original & Personal Domino

The reason for my blog hiatus and all of the unfinished projects. Real Life. Our family was battling a stomach bug :( Nothing planned or scheduled. Just notes. I didn't even decorate the pages...

Goodbye, January...
